Nest Digital Imaging Group Meeting:

    Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at 1:00 P.M.

The Digital Imaging Group meets to discuss the rapidly growing field that covers digital cameras, scanners, plotters, and new emerging technology. The group also discusses the quality of pictures that can be obtained from such instruments, and other related subjects. Members frequently bring their new cameras and photographs to meetings to share new technology and to demonstrate what can be done with digital photography.

The group addresses the average, casual photographer. If one is a photo hobbyist or enthusiast, one would benefit from such a group as this. The group considers many features of digital-camera photography and digital characteristics.

The group meets Bob Melvin's home at 1503 Black Mountain Road in Hillsborough on the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00 P. M., January through November. There is no dress code for this group.

History:

The Digital Imaging Group was formed by Bob Melvin as a subgroup of the Computer Group in 1999. Bob Melvin has been the chairman ever since.
