MEETING

JUNE 15, 2011

 

Today’s meeting at the Crystal Springs GC, was attended by twenty four of our members. The meeting was called to order at noon.  The roll of members was called by Assistant Treasurer Dale Schmidt and Mel Brown a new attendee was the introduced.          

 

Chairman John Stahlman then encouraged those present to bring a prospective member to the next and subsequent meetings. Activities Chairman Keefer identified several members (13) who expressed interest in Economic Research from his latest survey. Chr. John is to use this list and assign names for members to call.

 

After a great lunch of steak or a vegetarian pasta Chr. John introduced or speaker Jeffrey Gee who works in the development bureau of Redwood City. Among the project currently being handled by his department was the proposed development plans for the Salt ponds east if the city that include a large housing project as well as parks and recreation. Environmental studies will be made determine the impact of the project.

 

A question period followed the talk.

 

Our next meeting is to held on September 21^st at the Crystal Springs location.
